When to use
- Quantifying trunk motor impairment and sitting balance after stroke or in other neurological conditions affecting trunk control.
Formula
Total = static sitting balance (0-7) + dynamic sitting balance (0-10) + coordination (0-6), each performed and scored per the original Verheyden et al. protocol; range 0-23, higher = better function.
Pearls and pitfalls
