  • Assessing and tracking asthma exacerbation severity in children roughly 2-17 years old, including pre-/post-treatment comparison.

Formula

PRAM = O2 saturation (0-2) + suprasternal retractions (0 or 2) + scalene muscle contraction (0 or 2) + air entry (0-3) + wheezing (0-3). Range 0-12. Mild 0-3, moderate 4-7, severe 8-12.
