R = 3.19 - 0.101*age + 0.147*albumin(g/L) + 0.0165*(bilirubin day0 - day7)(umol/L) - 0.206*renal insufficiency - 0.0065*bilirubin day0(umol/L) - 0.0096*PT(s). Lille = exp(-R)/(1+exp(-R)).

Pearls and pitfalls

  • Cut-off 0.45 separates responders from non-responders.
  • Renal insufficiency scored 1 if creatinine >1.3 mg/dL (115 umol/L).
