Formula
Anatomic staging classification (not an additive score): stage is assigned from the most extensive disease found at surgical/pathological staging, per the FIGO 2014 revision for ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal carcinoma (Stages I-IV with lettered and numbered substages as listed).

- The 2014 revision unified staging for ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal carcinoma into a single system, reflecting evidence that many high-grade serous 'ovarian' cancers originate in the fallopian tube.
- Stage IIIC is not defined by lymph node involvement alone — nodal metastasis without peritoneal spread beyond the pelvis is classified as IIIA1, not IIIC.
