When to use

  • Patients undergoing exercise treadmill testing with the Bruce protocol for suspected or known coronary artery disease.

Formula

Score = exercise time (min) − (5 × ST deviation in mm) − (4 × angina index), where the angina index is 0 = none, 1 = non-limiting, 2 = exercise-limiting.
