Pearls and pitfalls
- Doses are typically escalated across sequential infusions (e.g., 1×10⁶ → 1×10⁷ → up to 5×10⁷ CD3+ cells/kg) to balance graft-versus-leukemia effect against graft-versus-host disease.
- Starting doses are generally lower for HLA-mismatched or unrelated donors than for matched siblings.
