When to use
- Prognosticating patients with relapsed or refractory CLL starting kinase-inhibitor or venetoclax-based therapy.
Formula
One point each for: Beta-2-microglobulin >=5 mg/L; Anaemia (haemoglobin <110 g/L in women or <120 g/L in men); LDH above the upper limit of normal; time from Last therapy to current treatment <24 months. Range 0-4: low risk 0-1, intermediate 2-3, high risk 4.
Pearls and pitfalls
- Derived and externally validated across ibrutinib, idelalisib, and venetoclax-treated cohorts.
- Does not include cytogenetic/molecular markers such as del(17p) or TP53 status.
